The Chinese Taekwondo Association recently announced that the Wuxi 2025 World Taekwondo Championships will take place in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, from Oct 24 to 30.

As a top global event in the field of taekwondo, the World Taekwondo Championships began in 1973 and are held every two years. It is the largest, oldest, and most prestigious single-discipline taekwondo competition, with ranking points second only to the Olympics.

This edition is expected to attract over 2,000 participants from nearly 200 countries and regions.

The official logo of the Wuxi 2025 World Taekwondo Championships is inspired by the word "flow", symbolizing the seamless integration of movement, power, and precision in taekwondo. The bold curves of the logo reflect the rhythm and control of the sport, while the sharp angles convey explosive power and discipline. The overall shape resembles a flying kick, capturing the most iconic move of taekwondo.

In addition to the main competition, the Wuxi 2025 World Taekwondo Championships will feature a variety of other activities. These include a freestyle poomsae grand prix, a taekwondo expo, and academic seminars focused on AI in the development of sports.
