Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, recently released a series of cartoon characters to attract talent.

The images, based on "A Fu" and "A Xi", city images of Wuxi, were decorated to show the unique culture contents of each district and prefecture-level city. The images represent a hard-working spirit, kindness, happiness, and helpfulness.

The city has been implementing supporting measures and hosting talent-oriented events to promote employment, aiming to develop more driving forces behind the city's economic development.

It has been named the top Chinese city for attracting talent for three consecutive years.

As of the end of November 2021, Wuxi had introduced more than 11,900 high-level talents, 2,470 overseas students, and 102,000 college students.

The total number of talents in the city now exceeds 1.94 million, including 152,500 high-level talents, 19,000 returnees, and 471,000 highly-skilled talents.

In 2021, Wuxi's "Taihu Talent Plan" offered support to 300 talent projects in 14 categories.
