The city of Fredericton, Canada, became a sister city of Wuxi on March 28, 2012.
It is the capital of New Brunswick province, with a population of 80,000, and is the center of political, cultural, educational and tourism in eastern Canada.
Fredericton is honoredas an innovation center for its major industries, such as biology, medical science, research, electron and information. Fredericton is home to two universities and cultural institutions, including the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the York Sunbury Museum, and the Playhouse. Its convenient public facilities, ordered public security and affordable living expenses made Fredericton a habitable city in Canada.
