The China Yixing Ceramics Museum is among China's earliest specialized ceramic museums. Its extensive collection includes Neolithic sand-tempered pottery, glazed pottery from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220), celadon from the Jin dynasties (265-420), Jun pottery from the Song and Yuan dynasties (960-1368), zisha (purple clay) teapots from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), as well as modern colored glazed ceramics, art pieces, and fine ceramics. The museum displays 107 culturally significant relics.
