Intl journalists marvel at Wuxi's smart manufacturing, culture

Journalists from over 10 media outlets from countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, and the Netherlands explored Wuxi's intelligent manufacturing enterprises, intangible cultural heritage workshops, and cultural landscapes on Aug 19.

They documented the unique charm of this Jiangnan city, where industrial dynamism and water culture blend, through their cameras and words.

At Miracle Automation Engineering Co's smart manufacturing workshop, foreign media reporters explored the company's exhibition hall to discover its evolution from a township mold factory to a publicly listed group, along with its advancements in smart equipment, recycling industries, and humanoid robots.

A reporter from South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper showed keen interest in Miracle Automation's accomplishments in data collection and technological upgrades within industrial environments, aiming to bring China's cutting-edge smart manufacturing expertise to South Korea.

At the final assembly workshop of SAIC Maxus's Wuxi Branch and the Changguangxi Intelligent Manufacturing production base, they observed the efficient functioning of automated production lines. An Indian editor from China-India Dialogue said, "China's automotive craftsmanship and level of intelligence are impressive, and I hope high cost-performance Chinese brands like SAIC Maxus can further expand into the Indian market."

Yadea Technology Group Co, a global leader in the electric two-wheeler industry, demonstrated high-performance electric models and sustainable travel system solutions.

Wuxi's cultural heritage also managed to attract the attention of foreign media journalists.

At the Huishan Clay Figurine Museum, the media group admired intricate clay sculptures, from traditional opera characters to modern creative designs. In Zhao Hongyu's fine embroidery studio, Zhao demonstrated the meticulous craftsmanship of fine embroidery. As evening arrived, the Yingyueli Block at Huishan Ancient Town revived its lively thousand-year-old scene, with sounds of paddles and lantern lights filling the air.
