Wuxi Chinese Orchestra delivered a concert at the Wuxi Grand Theatre in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on June 21 to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of composer Liu Tianhua.
The concert also unveiled the details of the orchestra's new music season titled "Huan".
The title, "Huan", embodies the spark of love and empathy for traditional music culture, while highlighting the orchestra's artistic journey towards innovation and renewal.

The orchestra will present a series of curated performances and innovative ideas during the 2025-2026 music season to inspire the audience's interest in traditional Chinese music and experience the charm of blending tradition and modernity.
As the third music season since the establishment of the Wuxi National Orchestra, the new music season will run from September of this year to August of the following year, featuring 10 major concerts and 2 small to medium-sized concerts.
This year, the orchestra will break new ground by holding special concerts in cities like Nanjing and Shanghai, broadening its impact beyond Wuxi.
Building on the impressive roster from past seasons, the orchestra has once again invited a remarkable array of renowned artists to take part. This includes Hong Xia, one of China's top 10 conductors, Lin Daye, artistic director of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra, and guzheng player Luo Jing.
