Young director Erdosi Míra from Hungary has a strong interest in innovative space design and captures the process of innovative space design by Wang Jun, a visual artist and photographer from Jiangnan University. While renovating his new home, Wang has rediscovered the long-lost aesthetic of literati and scholar spaces in China and their design value in contemporary times. Combining the Japanese designer's emphasis on natural representation, meticulous craftsmanship, and integration into daily life, Wang and his family collaborated with Takagi Nobuharu to create this innovative space.
Míra documents the process of the space owner's love for literature and the lifestyle, altering her initial perception that innovative space is not just visually appealing but more an embodiment of the owner's spirit and will. When Professor Wang Dameng from Jiangnan University writes the characters "Fu Cang (Touch the Earth)" on the space's stone wall, Míra achieves a profound understanding of this theme—"Touch the Earth".
