The Wuxi Hui Art Museum, located in Nanjian Park, Wuxi, Jiangsu province, opened its doors to the public on May 10, revealing its inaugural exhibition.
Renovated from former warehouse buildings dating back to the 1970s within Nanjian Park, the museum has maintained its authentic industrial character, allowing the blended histories of art and industry to resonate through its brick and stone walls.

The art museum features three exhibition halls, a modern collection of paintings, multifunctional spaces, an art store, and various supporting facilities. The main exhibition hall creates an immersive visual experience with an 8-meter-high ceiling, harmonizing with over 7,000 square meters of public outdoor areas.
The merging of Hui Art Museum with Nanjian Park represents the rejuvenation of industrial heritage, the harmonious interplay between artistic energy and ecological systems, and the blending of historical memories with modern life.

A group of young locals from Wuxi, many born in the 1990s, operates this project as a means of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, while also contributing to the artistic growth of the city.
Ding Xue, curator of the Wuxi Hui Art Museum, said, "The exhibitions primarily highlight contemporary art as I strive to merge it with local culture, support local artists, and connect emerging local talents with established names in the contemporary art world."
In the coming days, the museum will present high-quality art exhibitions and public educational programs, supporting Wuxi in developing a modern art ecosystem and creating a new cultural landmark.
