Wuxi is now a city of flowers with Chinese wisteria, tulips, late-blooming cherries, azaleas, and rapeseed flowers all in full bloom. Those who come to admire the flowers are indeed fortunate. They can visit Huishan Ancient Town for azaleas, Plum Garden for tulips, Yangshan town for peach blossoms, and Hudai town for rapeseed flowers.
For a unique cultural escape, visitors can embark on a "reverse tour"—immersing themselves in Wuxi's vibrant arts scene for a day. The recently opened woodblock painting exhibition at Wuxi Art Museum showcases the bold creativity of the city's young artists, blending tradition with contemporary flair. Nearby, the Wuxi Museum buzzes with energy as families dive into hands-on intangible cultural heritage activities — from the competitive thrill of Qingming Festival pitch-pot games to the delicate artistry of hand-painted paper umbrellas.
