Yangshan in Huishan district, Wuxi, welcomed a group of international friends on March 26, showcasing a great example of China's rural revitalization with its local practice, which left them a deep impression.
Surrounded by a sea of peach blossoms, the visitors enjoyed the sweet vibes around and immersed themselves in the beauty of spring. Beyond the picturesque scenery, they marveled at the agricultural sci-tech park and arts village's modern cultural tourism landscape.
From peach blossoms to honey peaches, peach resin, and intricately carved peach pit crafts, Yangshan has built a complete industrial chain centered on peaches, empowering the entire region and spurring the development of cafes, homestays, and cultural villages across the area.
Yangshan also continues to enhance the quality of its honey peaches through technological innovation and industrial upgrading, showcasing the robust vitality of agricultural new quality productive forces.
"I think it's exciting to see Wuxi's effort on this important topic of rural revitalization. Not only the peach cultivation but also the building of villages and hospitality, I think it's a very nice example to see how Wuxi is doing this," said Sachi Claringbould, the deputy consul general of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai.
