The 2025 HLA Wuxi Marathon is set to kick off at 7 am on March 23, welcoming 35,000 runners worldwide, as announced during the press conference on March 13.
This year's event is poised to host the National Marathon Championships again, marking the inaugural stage of the Chinese Athletics Association's trio of championship races.
Featuring full marathon, half marathon, and fun run categories, the race will continue to adopt a staggered start, with participants divided into 12 zones based on their registered event and performance, commencing in three waves at 7 am, 7:20 am, and 7:40 am, respectively.
The Wuxi Marathon course has been further enhanced, incorporating the city's iconic buildings, picturesque natural landscapes, and cultural elements.

As a World Athletics Gold Label event and a CAA A1 certified event, this year's Wuxi Marathon boasts a significantly increased prize pool of $430,000. The top male and female finishers stand to earn up to $110,000 each in prize money.
On race day, more than 4,600 security personnel will be stationed along the course, alongside 28 medical stations, and nearly 6,500 volunteers will provide service to participants throughout the event.
From March 20 to 22, a marathon expo will take place at the Taihu International Expo Center during the registration period, showcasing a range of running products and Wuxi Marathon-themed cultural and creative items.
