Horseshoe pastry was once a tribute to the imperial court. It is named for its thick edges and thin center, which resemble a horseshoe. It is loved by many for its crispy, fragrant, and sweet taste without being greasy.
The modern production process of horseshoe pastry is more refined. The main ingredients include flour, red beans, nuts, sesame, and more. The pastry is crispy on the outside and smooth and fragrant on the inside.
