The Zhenjiang leg of the spring campus recruitments organized by Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province was unveiled simultaneously at the Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Jiangsu University on Feb 24.
The recruitment event featured a strong lineup of companies, with 149 key enterprises from Wuxi offering 2,563 positions tailored for students from universities in Zhenjiang.
These participating businesses include 103 of the modern industry cluster, which provides jobs in emerging industries like high-end equipment, biopharmaceuticals, new energy, and the Internet of Things.
Bachelor's degree holders accounted for 83 percent of the job demands, while the demand for master's and doctoral degree holders reached 348 positions.
The Wuxi Talent Liaison Station at Jiangsu University was officially inaugurated at the event. The university appointed human resources directors from six Wuxi companies as career mentors to provide practical experience to students, helping them analyze career planning, understand industry trends, and align talent development with market demand.
Yu Renchang, deputy director of the Wuxi human resources and social security bureau, emphasized Wuxi authorities' high regard for attracting young talents. To bring Wuxi closer to faculty and students from other cities and to help more outstanding young talents understand and engage with Wuxi, this year, they plan to establish Wuxi Talent Liaison Stations at 10 universities, making youth talent recruitment a regular practice.
