On Dec 14, a winter bazaar was held at the Erquan Square of Chong'an Temple in downtown Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, celebrating the upcoming holiday season.
With music in the air and many cultural activities on offer, the event brought together foreign businesses, international schools, and restaurants in Wuxi and neighboring cities to share in the Christmas spirit with locals.

At the lively and bustling bazaar, visitors were treated to an eclectic mix of culinary delights, including Gluhwein, spicy Mexican tacos, sweet Iranian puddings, and savory American sausages, each tantalizing their taste buds in a unique way.
Alongside these culinary wonders, elegant handmade treasures such as Christmas decorations, delicate Japanese jadeite pendants, and hand-woven textiles were also available.
Under the guidance of professional practitioners, visitors also tried their hands at clay sculpting and crafting intricate Chinese sugar paintings, each creation adding joy and creativity to the festive atmosphere.

Furthermore, a diverse musical lineup added to the vibrancy. Christmas carols, Korean pop songs, Chinese rock tunes, and African drum performances injected energy and excitement into the event, contributing to the multicultural experience.
Amy Loveday-Hu from Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science shared her excitement at participating in the event: "It's really great fun. Lots of cultures coming together to celebrate winter, to celebrate all the different festivals. We celebrate because the world is a better place when we all get along."
Since 2018, the annual event has served as a significant platform for all to experience the lively ambiance of Wuxi's international community.
