Wang Xing Ji, a time-honored food brand in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, announced its decision to name Azspace's self-developed spacecraft Dier III after itself, according to a press conference held on Dec 12.
The Wang Xing Ji spacecraft is scheduled to be launched at the end of December at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwest China. It will orbit for over a year, supporting various scientific experiments and technological tests in outer space. At that time, the Wang Xing Ji baozi (or steamed stuffed bun) model will also ascend with the spacecraft as a zero-gravity indicator.

The cooperation agreement for the "Xiaolongxing" research and study project was signed by Wang Xing Ji in collaboration with the Wuxi Time-Honored Brands Association, Azspace, Wuxi New Oriental Culture and Tourism, and Wuxi Public Transport during the event.
This project will integrate time-honored brand and aerospace culture in Wuxi's Liangxi district. Relying on local enterprises, universities, associations, and institutions, it is expected to create an important platform for popularizing aerospace knowledge, inspiring scientific exploration, and fostering a culture of innovation within the local community.
In recent years, the Liangxi district's bureau of commerce has actively explored various measures to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of local time-honored enterprises. Specifically, it has introduced policies not only to support the growth of these enterprises but also to encourage the clustering development of these time-honored brands.
