The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating took place in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, from Oct 10 to 12, local media reported on Oct 10.
The competition drew over 400 figure skaters from more than 30 countries and regions, delivering a spectacular visual feast to figure skating enthusiasts in the city.

The contestants were divided into three categories: men's single skating (22 participants), women's single skating (36 participants), and ice dancing (17 pairs).
The 2024-2025 season consists of seven qualifying competitions and one final competition. Each individual or team is eligible to participate in up to two of the qualifying competitions. Points are awarded based on ranking, with the top six individuals or teams in each category advancing to compete in the Grand Prix Final.

As the host city of the final qualifying competition, Wuxi will witness the emergence of all participants in the Grand Prix Final, which is set to be held in France from Dec 5 to 8.
