An oil painting exhibition on the landscapes of Wuxi in Jiangsu province at the China Cultural Center in Paris attracted about 5,000 viewers from May 21 to 30.

The artworks on display were created by 19 renowned Chinese oil painters during their visit to Wuxi in March this year.

One teacher brought his 13 students from Lyons expressly to see the oil paintings. The teacher said that he and his students were impressed by the Jiangnan scenery, adding that he would go and see the beautiful landscape himself.
