Participants are required to provide information for identity confirmation and further contact when submitting written or video materials for "My Wuxi Story" solicitation campaign. To protect participants' information, organizers of the activity will adopt the following policies:
I. Acceptance clause
1. Participants who submit stories for the activity will be deemed to have read and accepted all the terms and conditions in this Notice.
2. This Notice shall enter into force when the participant submits relevant information.
3. The organizers reserve the right to modify and update this Notice at any time. The modified and updated terms, once published on the website, will replace the previous versions.
II. Information collection
1. In addition to written or video materials pertaining to the "My Wuxi Story" activity, participants of the activity shall provide their name, nationality, organization, address and mobile phone number.
2. Participants should be responsible for the authenticity, accuracy and completeness of the all information provided and ensure that it does not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of any third party.
III. Information protection
The organizers shall ensure the safety of participants' information, and shall not disclose it to the public or to any third party, except under the following circumstances:
1. having been authorized by the participant in advance;
2. to comply with relevant laws and regulations;
3. to follow instructions of government authorities;
4. to safeguard public interests and security;
IV. Disclaimer
The organizers shall take reasonable measures to protect the information of participants and prevent unauthorized third-party access to the information provided. The organizers will not assume any responsibility under the following circumstances:
1. Any disclosure of information caused by the participant forwarding personal information contained in emails or links to others or sharing it with others;
2. Any leak, loss, illegal use or falsification of information caused by force majeure that affects the normal network operation, such as a hacker attack, a computer virus intrusion or outbreak, or a temporary shutdown due to government control;
3. Any disclosure of participants' registration information caused by other websites linked to the official mailboxes for submission or official solicitation platforms, and any legal disputes or consequences arising therefrom.
V. Law
1. The organizers reserve the final right to interpret this Notice. In case there is any conflict or contradiction between the terms of the Notice and the existing laws and regulation of the People's Republic of China, the latter shall prevail.
2. The Notice is formulated and governed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.
3. Any controversy or dispute arising out of or in connection with this Notice shall be settled by the two parties through negotiation; and if no negotiated agreement can be reached, either party may file a lawsuit in the people's court with jurisdiction in the place where the China Daily Multimedia Wuxi Co Ltd is located.
