China Media Group will record the 2023 Taihu Mei Concert in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, according to a press conference held in Beijing on Aug 18.
The program, centering on the beauty of Taihu Lake, will invite national art troupes and art workers to Wuxi to participate in the recording and showcase the Taihu Lake using live performances and virtual presentation.

The program will be recorded in Wuxi and other cities around Taihu Lake to attract audiences of all ages and will try to present Wuxi as a city of intelligent manufacturing, happiness, and beauty, according to Zhang Guofei, director of CMG's cultural program center.
Ji Ming, head of CMG's Jiangsu office, noted that the region around Taihu Lake boasts beautiful views, abundant produce, and a rich culture and is a land of milk and honey.

He added that the program is expected to showcase the region's beautiful natural environment, advanced technologies, and prosperity.
Li Qiufeng, director of Wuxi's publicity department, invited people to visit Wuxi to witness the shining pearl of Taihu Lake and the prosperous Jiangnan region.
