Du Xiaogang, Party secretary of Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province, met with Chen Yudong, president of Bosch China, on Aug 31.
Du thanked Bosch Group for its long-term support for Wuxi's development and briefed Chen on the city's basic situation.
He also noted that years of cooperation between Wuxi and Bosch had yielded significant results.
Du expressed hope that Bosch will further deepen cooperation with Wuxi, making the city an important base for Bosch's development in China as well as the headquarters of its Chinese operations.

Chen introduced Bosch's development in China, especially in Wuxi, and said that the German company is confident in Chinese market's huge potential and its open and stable investment environment.
Chen added that the group is optimistic about the development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
He also said that Bosch will increase its investment in Wuxi and carry out cooperation with the city in more fields.
Bosch is the largest auto parts supplier in the world and now has three branch companies in Wuxi to develop, manufacture and market advanced internal combustion powertrain and core auto parts.
Last year, the total sales revenue of the three branch companies reached nearly 30 billion yuan ($4.34 billion).
