Yuantouzhu Island, or Turtle Head Isle, is a popular tourist resort on Taihu Lake, China's second largest freshwater lake, in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. It got its name because its shape resembles a turtle's head.
Yuantouzhu Park, which is located at the most beautiful corner of Taihu Lake, is endowed by nature, combining both green hills and crystal-clear water. It is famous for its tourism, especially during the spring season from March to May when all kinds of flowers and trees flourish.
The violet blossoms of Iris sibirica are a beautiful sight in Yuantouzhu Park. The flower is widely appreciated and grown in Europe and central Asia.
