This year, the online edition of the expo was held via a WeChat mini program entitled "Yu Mi Jiang Nan", aiming to promote trade in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Ten agricultural enterprises and 10 modern farmers were awarded at the opening ceremony, and Wuxi Party Secretary Huang Qin encouraged the integrated development of modern technology and the agriculture industry. He also called for more policies to support the development of agriculture.
Over 3,600 enterprises and 1.97 million people from home and abroad have participated in the annual Wuxi Modern Agriculture Expo by now, which gives farmers a way to showcase their achievements and find business opportunities.
