The 14th Wuxi International New Energy Electric Vehicle Exhibition opened at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center on June 11.
The three-day expo was the first event held at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center following the COVID-19 outbreak. It was also the first expo involving the electric vehicle industry to be held at the center.
Over 200 companies from the electric vehicle industry attended the 35,000-square-meter expo to display their latest vehicles and products. Many of the participants expressed their confidence about China's economic recovery.
Chen Kaiya, director of the office of the board of directors from Jiangsu Xinri E-Vehicle Co, said that he was surprised by the good turnout at the expo. He added that the electric vehicle industry could experience explosive growth in the second half of the year.
To ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors, the organizers have relied on a smart access control system to limit the number of people to 3,000 at any one time.
A total of 10,000 masks will be offered to visitors. In addition, guests are required to have their temperatures measured, scan an official QR code and display their health QR codes before entering.
