A signing ceremony for two key projects valued at 8 billion yuan ($1.14 billion) was held through a video conference in Jiangyin National High-tech District on Feb 20.
During the ceremony, Shenzhen Academy of Aerospace Technology will invest five billion yuan to build an aerospace transportation internet of things industrial park, which will use electronic automobile identification to develop smart transportation.
The headquarters of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation's transportation internet of things industrial park will also be built in Jiangyin National High-tech District. Construction on the project is expected to finish in 2022.
Shanghai Yulin Hospital Management Co will build a quality high-end nursing home for the elderly worth 3 billion yuan.
These are the first two major project deals to be signed in the city after the Spring Festival holiday.
Jiangyin is making efforts to prevent and control the epidemic and continues to improve its government services and business environment to attract quality investments.
