The Taihu (Mashan) Life Science and Healthcare Forum and the Forth Global Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Summit will be held from April 11 to 14 in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, a news conference announced on April 4.
Some 3,000 guests from home and abroad are expected to take part in the event, including government officials, scholars, and representatives from research institutes, pharmaceutical companies and institutional investors.
Events including keynote speeches, high-level talks and sub-forums will be organized to offer experiences and advice on how to develop the biomedical industry, promote the intelligence and informatization of clinical medicine, and support academic exchange.
With a focus on advanced smart medical technology, over 300 experts will attend 10 sub-forums discussing 160 topics, including the Forth Global Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Summit, medical artificial intelligence, and applications of digital technology in the field of traumatic orthopedics.

The exhibition on global high-end medical instruments will open as well. Covering an area of 15,600 square meters, it will exhibit medical imaging equipment, medical electronic equipment, medical diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, medical 3D printing equipment, rapid inspection equipment and supplies, hospital pharmacy automation equipment, central laboratory equipment, operating room equipment and disposable product processing equipment.
Famous medical companies such as GE, ThermoFisher and WuXi Biologics will take part in the exhibition.
