Master Miaoyu woke at his usual time of 6 am on Jan 12, a day ahead of the traditional Laba Festival. But his morning quiet was soon broken by a group of charity workers arriving to help with preparations for a massive Laba porridge distribution event set for the following day.
Grateful for their hard work, Master Miaoyu cooks a special Laba treat for them.
