"The manufacturing industry, especially the automobile sector, has become more intelligent", said Wang, who is also the general manager of Bosch Automotive Diesel Systems Co. He voiced his vision for the future of the automobile industry during the two sessions, saying that automobiles have the potential to be zero-anxiety, zero-emissions and zero-accidents.
The three "zeros" actually mean automation, electrification and interconnection, according to Wang. Bosch has set up three bases in Wuxi, one of which engages in electric vehicle R&D, smart transportation and gas disposal. He said the auto parts sector is a competitive industry in Wuxi which should play a more active role through establishing a series of professional institutes and platforms, as well as making international industrial standards.
