Wuxi recently rewarded three companies for the huge contributions they have made to the city's development in recent years by upgrading their Wuxi branches to regional headquarter status.
The three companies included two Taiwan-owned branch companies, HannStar Board International Holdings Ltd and Tripod Technology Corporation, and a Hong Kong-headquartered company, Impro Precision Industrial Limited.
The branches have been promoted to regional headquarters thanks to their positive role in driving Wuxi's economy, according to the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province.
Besides being able to take advantage of various convenient policies aimed at businesses in Wuxi, the three companies will also benefit from preferential policies such as financial aid and monetary incentives.
Regional headquarters are designed to promote the rational flow of regional resources and the efficient utilization of business resources on a global scale.
