Four major industrial headquarter projects started construction on Dec 18 in Huishan Development Zone, Wuxi, Jiangsu province, in a bid to foster headquarters economy in the region and adjust and optimize the local industrial structure.
One project under construction is the advanced business park of Yogomo (Heibei) Motors, with an investment of 500 million yuan ($71.95 million). It is designed to be the innovation base and research and development center for Yogomo's high-quality and smart electric cars.
Yogomo is an emerging Chinese company that focuses on small electric vehicles. Established in April 2008, the company now has a head start on the country's mini-EV industry. Construction of its manufacturing base started in August in the Huishan Development Zone with a three-billion-yuan investment.
With a total investment of 450 million dollars, the base of Comtec Solar Group in Huishan Development Zone will be the group's core project in the Chinese market.
Comtec Solar is a pure-play monocrystalline solar ingot and wafer manufacturer based in China and Malaysia that focuses on the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of high-quality solar wafers.
