The 2016 Taihu Equipment & Manufacturing Industry Exhibition was held from Mar 10 to 13 at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center, East China's Jiangsu province, according to Wuxi Daily.
The expo, co-hosted by the Wuxi branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Wuxi Mechanical Industry Federation, displayed equipment ranging from machine tools to urban subway facilities.
It covered an exhibition area of about 30,000 square meters, attracting a number of famous foreign enterprises from America, Germany, Japan and South Korea.
As China’s manufacturing industry develops and with the establishment of the "world factory" in the Yangtze River Delta Area, Wuxi has become a major manufacturing base in the country for vehicle components and parts, complete equipment, precision machinery and engineering machinery products.
The expo has also become a reputable brand exhibition of industrial equipment in the southern Jiangsu region.
