According to the Wuxi Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Wuxi Sensor Network University Science Park and the Wuxi Internet of Things (IOT) University Innovation Park have been listed as municipal university entrepreneurship basesas of December, 2015.
Since its foundation, the Wuxi Sensor Network University Science Park has provided innovative areas covering over 7,000 square meters for university start-ups. To date, the park has brought in 50 university entrepreneurship projects, half of which have internationally advanced technology in the fields of low-power wireless IOT and mobile ad hoc wireless network and video data processing, with nearly 100 patents and 50 technological products.
The Wuxi IOT University Innovation Park makes use of the city's IOT industrial advantage to offer youth entrepreneurs guides on transforming technical ideas into industries. A total of 27 enterprises have been in the park with projects involving smart bracelets, IC integration of circuits, smart lighting, Internet media, ads design and home furniture.
