The First-Longing Industrial Park in Wuxi Beitang District established an innovative area on Dec 13 to provide office space as well as business services for entrepreneurs.
The park operator Shanghai Sun Power Group has preserved the old buildings in the park while adding modern courtyards and squares to create enough space for enterprises to demonstrate their corporate cultures.
Ju Yi, operation director of Wuxi Haotuo Company, which was one of the first enterprises to locate in the park, appreciates the high-quality garden-style working environment. He said the added services like organized exchange between companies and promotion of brand image are also of great benefit.
Sun Liye, president of Sun Power, said the industrial park puts more emphasis on companies' growth strategies than the rents. Rent prices are judged on the basis of a company's business potential and the chances of cooperation with other companies in the park.
"Sometimes we just charge basic property fees", said Sun, "but we share the growing income with the businesses." The company is now trying to find common value points based on the growth of enterprises in the park to make it a carrier for business development.
Since its opening in 2014, the park has hosted various theme activities featuring art display, creative and cultural exchange and fashion shows. To improve its cultural connotation In the upcoming year the park will continue to organize cutting-edge activities including an international concert, a design exhibition, a brand conference and a high-end auto exhibition.
Sun said that the newly established innovative area will employ professional tutors to guide enterprises on business registration, and project and brand design. Budding cultural innovative enterprises with great potential will be given enough support to grow and contribute to the park’s core competitiveness.
