Nearly a hundred businessmen from 14 countries and regions, including Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan, attended a promotion by Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone (HEDZ) on September 17, according to Jiangnan Evening News.
The HEDZ inked nine key projects worth 1.32 billion yuan ($207.25 million) with German, Australian, South Korean, Singaporean and Hong Kong companies.
The nine projects feature advanced technologies and high output.
A medical robot project aims to build China's first manufacturer of full-automatic surgical and pharmaceutical robots, by introducing overseas technologies and high-tech professionals.
Established in 2001, HEDZ has drawn advanced manufacturing enterprises, such as Italian Gnutti Carlo and Yunnei Power, by playing a leading role of the zone's key businesses, such as SAIC Commercial Vehicle.
