A signing ceremony for building Blue Whale Military and Civilian Integration Innovation Park was held in Wuxi New District, Jiangsu province, on July 16.
The park, with a planned area of 100,000 square meters, was co-initiated by the Wuxi government, Administration Committee of Blue Whale Park and Beijing Science and Technology Park Construction Co. It is expected to introduce 100 enterprises that manufacture sophisticated national defense technology in three years, with output value totaling one billion yuan ($161.1 million).
Wang Quan, the mayor of Wuxi, said that Wuxi government has fine development environment for the establishment of the park, and the government will strive to build the park to be a leader in the integration of China's military and civilian defense.
