Wuxi New District, Jiangsu province has brought together more than 20 enterprises and 16 universities to sign up to cooperative projects.
The latest successful initiative is yet another sign of the WND's continuous efforts to introduce and apply production-study-research cooperation concept in its industrial enterprises with more than 20 million yuan ($ 3.2 million) annual sales revenue.
A total of 21 such industrial enterprises, which refer to all state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises with an annual sales income of over 20 million yuan, signed cooperative agreements on June 18 with 16 domestic well-known universities including the Nanjing University, Zhejiang University and Sichuan University.
The agreements aim to help such industrial enterprises in the district to identify innovative talents, improve their scientific research work and boost their transformation and upgrade, according to an official from the Wuxi New District Administrative Committee.
