German 'hidden champion' expands production in Sino-Euro Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park

On Feb 2, an expansion ceremony was held in Taicang, a county-level city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, marking the start of a new phase of Burkle Machinery's layered lamination and coating system manufacturing project.

Burkle, a globally renowned German "hidden champion" specializing in layered lamination, coating, and composite equipment, has chosen to further invest in Taicang.

Established in 2021, Burkle Machinery (Taicang) is located in the Sino-Euro Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park and focuses on R&D and production of high-tech pressing and lamination systems for the printed circuit board, copper-clad laminate, and smart card industries.

Holding around 50 percent of the market share and over 90 percent in the high-end segment, the company has seen exceptional growth, with an average annual increase in output value of 155.82 percent.

To capitalize on this success, Burkle plans to add 5,000 square meters of production space, expecting an annual growth rate in output value exceeding 36 percent in the future. This expansion solidifies Burkle's commitment to Taicang and the Sino-Euro Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park as a key hub for its global operations.
