German intralogistics systems powerhouse Beumer Group celebrated its 20th anniversary in China on Dec 10, with the opening of its state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D base in Taicang, marking a significant milestone as the company's first and only full-product-line, full-process advanced manufacturing and R&D facility in the country.

Beumer Group, a global leader in intralogistics systems including conveying, loading/unloading, palletizing, packaging, and sorting, has solidified its commitment to the Chinese market with this new venture.

In December 2023, Beumer Enterprise Management (Taicang), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beumer Group, was founded, making it the 500th German company in Taicang. Receiving a total investment of €100 million ($116.93 million), the newly launched project is projected to generate annual revenues exceeding 1.4 billion yuan ($200.24 million).

Christoph Beumer, chairman of the advisory board of Beumer Group, emphasized Taicang's reputation as the "Hometown of German Enterprises" in China, highlighting its investment and development potential in the Yangtze River Delta region. With the full operation of the Taicang base, Beumer Group has reaffirmed its dedication to the Chinese market, ushering in a new era of collaborative success and innovation.
