New liner service fuels Taicang-North Europe logistics efficiency
COSCO Shipping Specialized Liners has recently launched its Northwest European Liner, establishing an efficient, direct two-way logistics corridor between Taicang and European economic hubs.
The liner operates on a biweekly schedule, and its round-trip transit time is just 35 days.
Its outbound voyages depart from major Far East ports such as Taicang in Jiangsu province and Qinhuangdao in Hebei province, sailing directly to Northwest European ports including Antwerp in Belgium, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and Cuxhaven in Germany. Primary cargo includes steel products and new energy vehicles.
On the return leg, vessels depart from Finland's Kemi and Kotka ports, along with the aforementioned European hubs, heading to China's Taicang Port, Changshu Port, and Qingdao Port. Inbound cargo includes pulp, mineral concentrates, and grains.
The service has precisely met the export and import needs of German and other European companies, highlighting Taicang's strategic position as the hometown of German enterprises and accelerating the city's transformation from a manufacturing base to a high value-added industry hub.
