The 2025 Taicang (Beijing) Industry Cooperation Promotional Conference commenced in Beijing on Oct 30.

During the event, Taicang joined forces with central and state-owned enterprises, industry associations, and research institutes to connect high-end resources, sharpen the competitive edge of emerging industries, and accelerate innovation-driven growth.

It forged strategic partnerships with German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA), China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation, China Huaneng Group Co Ltd, State Development & Investment Corp Ltd, China Aviation Planning and Design Institute (Group) Co Ltd. Taicang Investment Promotion (Beijing) Center was officially launched.

The city also unveiled over 20 industrial and five fund projects, outlined the development blueprint of the Sino-German (Taicang) Industry Cooperation Demonstration Zone, and issued new policies on promoting new quality productive forces and talent.

Since Beijing is a magnet for China's brightest minds, most cutting-edge technologies, and strongest capital resources, Taicang aspires to be a leading hub in transforming the innovative accomplishments from this capital city into real-world applications, serving as a strategic bridgehead for Beijing-based enterprises to expand into the Yangtze River Delta region and beyond.
