Excitement filled the air as the eighth Taicang "China Germany Friendship Cup" Table Tennis International Tournament recently came to a successful conclusion at Taicang Stadium.

This year's event attracted 16 representative teams from China and Germany. The German side featured elite players, including those from German national teams and the Table Tennis Bundesliga.

"China is formidable in table tennis and all participants, from Taicang and other regions of China, are excellent players. It's a great chance for us to learn from each other," said a general manager from a table tennis association of Lower Saxony.

The "China Germany Friendship Cup" has been hosted annually since 2016 in Taicang, hailed as the hometown of German enterprises. It has become an international sports event with significant influence in Sino-German cooperation.
