Through the project, Brander Urstoff aims to further boost its popularity via sales on Chinese major social media platforms such as Douyin, the Chinese version of Tiktok, and Rednote, as well as in convenience shops, grocery stores, bars, hotels, and restaurants, building itself as a symbolic German beer brand in Taicang.

Brander Urstoff began engaging with the Chinese market in 2016 and dedicated itself to making German-style craft beer and fruit-flavored, low-alcohol beer in China using traditional German brewing techniques. It also made its mark at several important Sino-German exchange events, including Taicang Day in Germany and the 20th Taicang Rothenburg Beer Carnival.

Felix Wendlandt, founder of Brander Urstoff, was confident in their growth in Taicang, saying, "the agreement marks a significant milestone on the development path of our brand. By joining hands with Taicang, we will not only create economic values but also play an active role in cultural exchanges between the two nations."
