The 20th Taicang Rothenburg Beer Carnival is set to take place from Aug 26 to 30 in Rothenburg Street, a German-style commercial block in Taicang.

Aug 26: TRT Night

TRT Night will include international dances, lively bands, a novel roast piglet show, and a beer-drinking competition, brimming with German vibes.

Aug 27: Talent Night

On the second day, the carnival will pay tribute to talent. A well-known Chinese group will bring classic hits to honor the strivers, a folk music supergroup will sing for young dreamers, and a dance troupe will perform cool street dances, injecting youthful energy into the night.

Aug 28: Football Night

The third night offers visitors opportunities to interact with Bundesliga stars and Jiangsu Football City League players up close, as Samba dances and South Korean pop dance shows set the stage on fire.

Aug 29: Qixi Night

On Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day, the carnival will become a celebration of love. Couples share their stories, and singles have a chance to find their match. Certificates will be awarded to newly-married couples on this day. Whether in a relationship or single, everyone will be able to feel the romantic ambiance.

Aug 30: Closing Night

On closing night, international singing and dancing shows and rock bands will rock the venue. The domestic folk music supergroup then takes over to give a perfect end.

The carnival extends to the night market at the second and third phases of the street, offering over 50 stalls and more than 10 beer brands. From German flavors and local snacks to handmade crafts and trendy items, it has it all.
