Taicang, a county-level city of Suzhou, made a splash at the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), which opened at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) in Beijing on July 16.

Taicang set up a Sino-German (Taicang) Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Zone in the Advanced Manufacturing Chain section. Seventeen local enterprises participated, exhibiting a comprehensive array of new products. These ranged from intelligent equipment like ultrasonic welding machines to supporting components like precision fixtures, as well as post-chain products like X-ray inspection devices.

Taicang also organized a promotional event on Sino-German industrial cooperation. It introduced various industrial collaboration opportunities between China and Germany, while a number of major companies such as Herrmann Ultrasonics shared their corporate advantages, distinctive qualities, and investment experiences in Taicang.

Through this expo, Taicang has strengthened industry exchanges, identified potential cooperation partners, and signaled to the global automotive industry its strategic shift from a leading auto parts manufacturing base to a high-value industrial enabler.
