FC Bayern World Squad visits Taicang for training exchange
Led by coach Roy Makaay, the FC Bayern World Squad trained and exchanged with young players at the FC Bayern Football School in Taicang from July 13 to 14.

The team demonstrated world-class soccer training to the young footballers, encompassing technical drills, tactical rehearsals, specialized goalkeeper training, teamwork exercises, and psychological development.
In their free time, the squad visited the FC Bayern Showroom and the Rothenburg Street, a German-style business area.
Makaay and his players were impressed by the city's vibrant soccer vibe, well-established infrastructure, and beautiful urban landscape. Learning about the extensive collaborations between Taicang and FC Bayern, they hoped to return to Taicang for training and competitions someday.

Established in November 2022 through a partnership between Taicang and FC Bayern, the FC Bayern Football School in Taicang features FIFA-standard fields and a training center modeled after Bayern's elite facilities.
The school offers local youth with direct access to world-class football expertise, with German coaches collaborating with Chinese counterparts to design tailored youth programs. FC Bayern has organized various events in Taicang, including fan meetups, football promotions, and friendly matches.
