Taicang Rhein-Neckar Offshore Incubation Center opens in Germany

The Taicang Rhein-Neckar Offshore Incubation Center began operations in Weinheim, Rhein-Neckar-Keris, Germany, on June 25 local time.

About 100 attendees, including government officers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, innovation partners and media representatives from both Germany and China, participated in the opening ceremony.

Focused on three front-tier sectors featuring green economy, digital intelligence, and life sciences, the center will amalgamate innovative and entrepreneurial talent projects powered by core technologies. This effort will fortify itself as a Taicang-style international service platform for new-emerging industries, facilitating precise matchmaking and collaborations between German start-ups and innovative projects with China's mature industrial resources and markets.

With a thriving economy and over 100,000 enterprises, Rhein-Neckar-Keris stands alongside Munich and Berlin as one of Germany's top three life science hubs. Home to prestigious institutions and the headquarters of numerous multinational corporations, the region boasts rich expertise in life sciences, bio-informatics, green economy, and digital intelligence, providing an exceptional resource network and talent pool for the incubation center.
