Taicang debuts at Paris Air Show
Taicang, a county-level city of Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu province, made its debut at the 2025 Paris Air Show, which commenced in France on June 16 local time.

The International Forum on Green Aviation, co-hosted by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS), took place. Taicang was the sole Chinese local government invited to the forum.
Wan Fenqi, deputy mayor of Taicang, delivered a keynote speech. She expounded on the city's strategic blueprints, latest advancements, and cooperation visions in building a world-class aviation industrial cluster, with an emphasis on green innovation.
Chinese Ambassador to France Deng Li made a special visit to the exhibition hall. He expressed the hope that Taicang would forge deeper industrial ties with European nations, especially France, in advanced manufacturing sectors such as aviation.
Taicang delegates engaged in a range of high-quality industry matchmaking activities.
At the booth of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC), they gained insights into the commercialization progress and international market penetration of domestic large aircraft.
During visits to international aviation leaders like Liebheer and Thales, they explored collaborative opportunities in industrial chain cooperation.
They also met with delegates from internationally renowned aviation industrial clusters such as Toulouse and Hamburg, promoting cross-regional industrial cluster collaboration.
Their working discussions with Toulouse Business School culminated in a mutual consensus on cultivating aviation management talent and strengthening institutional cooperation.

Taicang also partnered with the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership (GACP) to host "Taicang International Cooperation Day", fostering international dialogue within the aviation industry, and was honored as a "Partnership Cluster City with GACP China".
