Art across borders: Viewing 50 years of Rhein-Neckar creativity in Taicang
The exhibition titled "Grenzenlos: 50 Jahre Kunst im Rhein-Neckar-Kreis" will be held from June 6 to Aug 24 at the Taicang Art Museum.
This exhibition is designed to promote the appreciation of contemporary art from the Rhein-Neckar region of Germany among Chinese audiences, fostering cultural dialogue between the two nations.
"Grenzenlos" embodies the unrestricted and friendly exchanges between China and Germany, particularly the strong bond between Taicang and Rhein-Neckar, where cultural interactions are deepening.
It also captures the boundless diversity of artistic expression. Over the past 50 years, more than 630 artworks by 245 artists from the Rhein-Neckar region have been collected or acquired through regular exhibitions and artists' studios, contributing to a remarkable art collection.
