Sino-German Standardization Cooperation Loudong Conference takes place in Taicang
The Sino-German Standardization Cooperation Loudong Conference & International Standardization Innovation and Integration Development Meeting (Suzhou) commenced in Taicang, East China's Jiangsu province, on May 23.
The event saw the launch of construction on the Sino-German Standardization Cooperation and Innovation Center in Frankfurt, which is poised to strengthen technological exchanges, project collaborations, and industrial coordination in Sino-German standardization.

During the meeting, an intelligent manufacturing international standardization research and application center was also inaugurated, highlighting the pivotal role that standardization plays in industrial development.
At the same time, a number of standardization accomplishments jointly developed by Chinese and German enterprises over the past three years were announced. Additionally, the Sino-German "AI+ Manufacturing" Standardization Project and the International Standardization Development Project were inked, and a range of participating units were recruited for international standardization projects in Sino-German standardization-related domains.
To date, Taicang has formulated and revised 10 international standards, fortifying its role as Jiangsu's first innovative hub for Sino-German standardization cooperation. Furthermore, the city has created multiple replicable and scalable models for standardization collaboration between China and Germany in terms of intelligent manufacturing and dual-system vocational education.
