Another sci-tech incubator develops in Taicang
In just three years, the Yangtze River Delta Advanced Materials Innovation Center, located in Taicang, has constructed a full-chain innovation ecosystem that spans technology research and development, industrial incubation, and capital matchmaking.
Since it started operating, the center has attracted over 20 new material enterprises, focusing on frontier fields such as new energy, semiconductors, and biomedical applications. It has nurtured more than 10 led by top talents from Taicang and Suzhou and helped startups secure cumulative financing of more than 20 million yuan.
Looking ahead, the center plans to elevate its service quality by introducing more high-end service resources, such as cloud computing platforms and big data analyses, to forge a more comprehensive innovation service system.
Furthermore, it will also strengthen its cooperation with universities and research institutions in the integration of industry, academia, and research as well as the commercialization of sci-tech achievements.
These efforts will help it incubate more sci-tech enterprises with core competitiveness, thereby boosting the economic development of Taicang.
