Lecker Bakery Castle opens in Taicang

Lecker Bakery Castle, the first phase project of Lecker Food (Taicang) Co with an investment of 500 million yuan ($69.26 million), was officially inaugurated on May 14 in Taicang.

The facility is projected to produce one million loaves of bread annually, with an output value exceeding 500 million yuan and tax revenue surpassing 50 million yuan.

Decked out in a dreamy macaron-inspired hues, the exterior of the castle features a myriad of sweet elements such as small cakes, donuts, and lollipops.

Inside, the castle spans two floors. The ground floor serves as a showcase and sales area, while the second is designed for catering services and has a baking education segment.

Lecker Food (Taicang) Co stands as a key supplier to many popular retail and catering enterprises across China. Despite using mostly imported ingredients in their offerings, the company maintains affordable pricing, with most products priced at no more than 10 yuan.

In recent years, Taicang has been proactive in enriching its industrial tourism offerings. The city aims to construct a comprehensive industrial tourism experience center that integrates sightseeing, educational tours, family-friendly activities, shopping, and customized services, thereby offering visitors a multifaceted and immersive experience.
